		The Aliens figures were made in the early 90s. These early Aliens were more bipedal than some of their forebears like the Snake alien.

The story should have been posted back in November 08 following the previous episodes but other things got in the way and filming was seriously delayed. It was finally posted on 26 Feb 2009.

Until the very last minute, the story was going to be called The Black Archive but changed to reflect not only Ingrid's trap but also Sarah Jane's attempt to trap her.

Back when the Sarah Jane AFT series was considered and Ingrid Fox was conceived, this final episode and specifically it's ending was one of the first ideas.

At the time it wasn't even considered where Ingrid and Sarah Jane would end up and what would happen but now the next chapter is ready to begin filming and will be posted later in the year.

There is a clue to Ingrid's intentions in the additional device she takes from the Black Archive- it has been seen on the AFT before. It was used in the filming but isn't really visible within the frames of the story itself.


Filming took place on Friday 20th Feb with a pick up shot of Ingrid entering the archive taken on 25th Feb.
The story uses the same sets as NEW AQUISITIONS since they are set in the same place

Like NEW AQUISITIONS , the story was written prior to Enemy of the Bane and altered to include The Black Archive name established on TV.
The edit took place between 24th and 26th February 2009.
Given the long gap between this episode and the previous chunk of the series, a handy 'previously on' page was put together.
The order of the pages was changed at the very last minute. The story originally began with Sarah Jane regaining consciousness, then flashing back to her confrontation with Ingrid. After posting the story, then reviewing it, along with the 'previously' section it was felt that it made Sarah Jane stronger to begin immediately with the confrontation and play the story out linearly.
The Kaladians were originally called Krahdans.


	Ingrid uses RetCon, a drug widely used by Torchwood to wipe memories.
	Sarah Jane has obviously met Kaladrians before but it's unclear whether this was during her time with the Doctor or sometime after.
	Timeline wise, I think this episode clinches it. There's no Luke so it's clearly prior to August 2008. I suggest that Sarah Jane's clearance to the Black Archive is rescinded following this incident which means next time she has to go to the Brigadier for help (Enemy of the Bane). This is the fourth part of our Ingrid Fox arc. We will be rejoining this arc later in the year.
