Without a doubt, the Melkur is a good figure. The sculpt is pretty much spot on, although it’s hard to make a complete hash of a statue that doesn’t have any small details like fingers. | |
| If anything, the figure may seem a little short and dumpy but the paint job is top notch. The red on the eyes is so vivid it glows as if the Melkur is shooting beams and the texture of the figure actually feels like stone. | ||

The only gripe about this figure is WHY? The Melkur is essentially a walking TARDIS. It’s not a villain or monster as such. It’s not even particularly iconic or from a highly regarded story. And with ‘main’ monsters still to be done like Yeti, Zygons or even Draconians, how on earth did they commission this obscure creature? |
