4th Doctor
Who is Wun Tun?
This is a character that I created decades ago to join my Denys Fisher 4th Doctor figure on his travels. Originally he was a Vietnam soldier but his scale next to the Doctor made him look like a child so that's what he became.
When the Dapol Doctor came along, he needed a companion so GI Joe Quick Kick fitted the bill perfectly, becoming the adult Wun Tun and appearing along side the 4th Doctor in my toy videos.
Should he be needed, a 5" version is already waiting to assist the 5" 4th Doctor later in the year.

I love the Sontarans and always intended that they would be used. However it was originally to be the 7th Doctor and Ace who go on a mission into Sontara to alter the Sontaran Clones' genetic make up producing a generation of peaceful Sontarans.

Shot on 4 Jan 08. The sets use stock sets I already had. The screen with the Earth on it was done specially for the story.

As a short story, it was very quick to edit. The Doctor's fake spaceships were created entirely in photoshop. In retrospect the engines look like eyes while the control room windows resemble teeth making the ships somehow look a bit like the 4th Doctor. Perhaps K-9 modelled them on his master.
The composite shot of the Sontarans working on the Nova Device uses an image of a rifle I found on the net.

Although not mentioned in the story, this is obviously another Sontaran plan in their ongoing war with the Rutans.
The inclusion of Wun Tun places this story somewhere between Seasons 15 and 16 (After The Invasion of Time, also featuring the Sontarans and before The Ribos Operation)
After the story was edited I realised that the Nova Device was a term used in Destiny of the Daleks. The two are not related.
