| First shown between February and May
2002. It was the second ever AFT adventure. |

|
| The story was inspired by some artificial
flowers I had seen. They were white but with flecks of red on
them that looked like blood, giving me the concept of blood
sucking plants. |
| The Harvest of Death was the first story
written specifically for the AFT, many others (Land of the
Dinosaurs, War of the Cybermen, Darkness) were originally going
to be continuation of toy videos I had been making. The
appearance of Colin Baker's Doctor was at the request of AFT
readers in a poll. He has long been a favourite of mine. |
|
|
 |
| Harvest has the first ever appearance of
recurring character Thadius Torchwood, here he is just an extra
two stories before his actual introduction. |
|
|
 |
| The original edit was a little hard to read in
places, specifically Armageddon's explanation in episode three,
mainly due to the font I used. It was re-edited later, to make
it a little clearer. |

 |
| This story takes place between Vengeance on
Varos and The Mark of the Rani- mainly because the
Doctor and Peri's intention at the end to visit Kew Gardens,
their destination in the latter story. |
| The sign in the first frame establishes that The
Galactic Horticultural Society was founded in 2392. |
